The hostel was located in a lovely little village with a view of the harbor. It was conveniently situated across the street from the city pool, which was a nice perk. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we had the kitchen and bathroom to ourselves since we were the only ones staying there that night. Additionally, the beds were comfortable and there were tea and coffee available for us to enjoy.

One minor issue was that the check-in was at a separate location about 1km away, which was a bit inconvenient. Another downside was that the hostel had a somewhat outdated and cheap-cabin look, which didn't match the high price we paid.

My recent stay at Hafaldan Hi Hostel - Harbour Building was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The interior of the building had a minimal 70s vibe, with beautiful details that added to the overall charm. One of the highlights was the open plan kitchen and living room area, which was a pleasant space to relax and interact with other guests.

Although there were a couple of drawbacks, such as the need to pay for the room at a different building and the slightly small size of the rooms compared to the price, these were minor inconveniences that did not overshadow the overall positive experience.

We stayed at Hafaldan Hi Hostel - Harbour Building and it was surprisingly good value. the beds were comfortable and all the facilities like tea and coffee were available as and when we needed them. They even had washing machines if required. the staff was friendly and the host was so lovely and helpful. the showers were beautiful and warm, a welcome relief after washing in freezing water. the hostel itself was stunning, easy to find with its bright yellow color. the rooms were cozy with plenty of storage space and the kitchen was well-equipped. the dining area had stunning fjord views and the living room sofas were incredibly comfy. It's a lovely, quiet spot just a few minutes' walk from the center.

I would definitely recommend staying here for at least 2 nights. Cons: No complaints.

I recently stayed at Hafaldan Hi Hostel - Harbour Building in Seydisfjordur for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The beds were comfortable, the rooms had heaters, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The communal living room was great, and the showers and toilets were constantly clean. The wifi worked perfectly, and the common room had a spacious layout with a stunning view of the harbor. I even had a room with a waterfall view! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The showers were a highlight, offering warmth and luxury after a long day. The accommodation was organized with easy check-in and check-out, and there was plenty of information available about local activities. The kitchen was clean and well-supplied, making it easy to prepare meals. the experience was exceptional, with everything being spotlessly clean and hot showers to enjoy after a day of exploring.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The bathrooms could get crowded when the hostel was fully booked, resulting in some waiting time. Additionally, the check-in process was a bit confusing as I had to pay for the room in a separate building located on the other side of the city.

Spacious and comfortable dorm room with well-designed bunk beds. Enjoyed the conversation-inviting dining area with a great view of the harbor. The kitchen was small but sufficient for our needs. The hostel was very cute and cozy.
